Arrangers

For arrangers, Small Stone Media offers various possibilities around arrangements, adaptations and rights.

On editing and arranging works

An arrangement is a change in music. This applies to both lyrics (e.g. a translation) and composition (e.g. an arrangement). Arrangers also need permission from the publisher to create an arrangement of existing works.

Do you want to edit/arrange a work?

  1. First check whether Small Stone Media represents the publisher whose work you want to arrange. If in doubt, please contact us.
  2. In order to grant permission, we require the following information: The title of the work, copyright details, possibly a link to the original recording.
  3. In your request, please also state how and where the processing will be used.
  4. E-mail your request to: [email protected]

After you have received permission, you can start working. As soon as you have completed your editing/arrangement, please send it to us with the correct copyright information. A demo is not necessary but appreciated.

We will try to process your request as quickly as possible, but please allow 1-2 months for a response.

Note: For copyright reasons, it is not permitted to use an adaptation that has not first been approved by the publisher.
